Three Nominations at Top Garage 2026: Shaw’s Multi-Site Finalist and Two Service Advisor Finalists

Three Shaw’s names are on the Top Garage 2026 shortlist. That’s not something many garages can say.

Shaw’s Service Station has been named as a Multiple Site finalist at Top Garage 2026, and two members of the Shaw’s team — Luke Collier and Danielle Cott — have both been shortlisted individually as Top Service Advisor finalists.

The finals take place on Saturday 14th November 2026 at Delphi Academy, Warwick.

What is Top Garage?

Top Garage is one of the most respected recognition programmes in the UK independent garage sector. Launched in 2018, it exists to shine a spotlight on the very best garages in the UK and reward dedication, professionalism and customer care. The competition has grown year on year and today includes the core Top Garage categories alongside the Top Service Advisor award and the BEN Workplace Health & Wellbeing Award.

The selection process combines online assessments, compliance checks and mystery shops, finishing with a finals day interview at Delphi Academy. Getting to the finals in any single category is an achievement. Getting three finalist positions from the same garage in the same year is something else.

Multiple Site finalist

Shaw’s Service Station named as a Top Garage 2026 Multiple Site finalist

Shaw’s Service Station confirmed as a Top Garage 2026 Multiple Site finalist alongside five other garages from across the UK.

The Multiple Site category recognises independent garage groups that maintain a consistent standard of work, customer experience and operational quality across more than one location. Shaw’s runs two branches — Kinmel Bay and Rhyl — and both are active, staffed workshops offering MOT testing, servicing, diagnostics, tyres, air conditioning, EV and hybrid work and general mechanical repair.

Keeping the same standard across two different sites, two teams and two sets of daily pressures is genuinely difficult. The Multiple Site shortlist recognises garages that manage it consistently.

The other Multiple Site finalists in 2026 are EAC Telford, IN’n’OUT Autocentres, K Brown Auto Repairs, LM Motor Clinic and VMB Autocentre.

Top Service Advisor finalists: Luke Collier and Danielle Cott

Both Luke Collier and Danielle Cott from Shaw’s are named in the Top Garage 2026 Service Advisor finalists.

The Top Service Advisor award recognises outstanding front-of-house professionals who deliver exceptional customer service, communication and technical understanding within independent garages. Finalists are assessed through online questions, customer-care scenarios and mystery shops — with the focus on how well they support both customers and the workshop team behind them.

It is a role that is easy to underestimate and hard to do well. Having two Service Advisor finalists from the same garage in the same year is unusual. Luke and Danielle are both part of the Shaw’s team, and this recognition reflects the standard of communication and customer care that the whole team works to every day.

What the finals involve

The Top Garage 2026 finals take place at Delphi Academy, Warwick on Saturday 14th November 2026. Each finalist takes part in a 30 to 45 minute interview with a panel of industry-leading judges. In the evening, finalists and guests are invited to the Top Technician & Top Garage Awards Gala Dinner at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, Coventry, where the winners are announced.

What this means for Shaw’s

Shaw’s has always believed that the job is not finished when the repair is done. The way the team explains what was found, what was done and why it mattered is as important as the work itself. That belief sits behind the Multiple Site nomination and behind both individual Service Advisor shortlistings.

For the team, this level of recognition matters — not because of the awards themselves, but because it confirms that the approach is right.

We check it properly.
We explain it properly.
We do the job properly.
You decide what gets done.

Good luck to Luke, Danielle and the whole Shaw’s team on 14th November.
